Hi horsfieldman:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

What would you like us to call you?

May we know appx. where you are?

No, its not time yet for your eggs to hatch. What temperature did you incubate them at? At around 84F degrees it would take around 3 months for the eggs to hatch.

Hi my name is chris im in kent in the uk. I have incubated them at about 85f. Do u think the eggs that r cracked r infertile? This is her first time in laying eggs. she layed them over 2 days the first 2 r not cracked and no holes but its the second batch that r showing signs or cracking and holes.

It is very likely that it should have hatched by now. Open the hole a little bigger and see what is going on. What is the humidity in the incubator? Once a hatchling pips the shell, it is fine to open it more to make sure the membrane has cleared the nostrils so the baby can breathe. I would not hesitate to open it more and find out what is going on. I have done it many times and never harmed a hatchling. Good luck.
