Edible vines/climbing plants

I have been looking around at edible plant lists on the internet for a good vine to plant along the fence that borders my enclosure..I haven't Had much luck finding what I'm looking for...any ideas??

I should mention that grape vines didn't do well when I tried them.

Mandolin is a vine type plant, to bad about the grape plants, they are perfect.

How safe is it for the tort to have unfettered access to mandolin?

My apologies, it is called mandeville, unsure on the spelling. red or pink flowering vine, mine don't like the rest of the plant, just the flowers. Have you tried any of the various squash plants, edible both leaf and flower. Just to satisfy my curiousity what species of tortoise do you have>

Mandevilla do grow well in sub-tropical climes, but are not safe for animal enclosures.

Boston Ivy is a temperate zone plant, and does usually not thrive in Florida.

Maybe I'll give the grape vines another try they started to grow and then died out of the blue!

Snail Vine are beautiful, grow fast and tortoises love them.
I don't have this vine but my friends do.
