Hurricane sandy is expected to make land fall here sometime tonight..go figure we are right in her path..it's already pretty bad out and I am expecting to loose power here soon for few days maybe a week..my question is, should I take my 2 dbts out of there tanks? I don't want them to get sick from cold water, with no heat lamp to warm them up.

What should I do?!?!?!

They should be fine, they are found naturally in the area where the storm is coming ashore, so a little chill shouldn't bother them.

I agree with Len. DBTs are native to hurricane prone areas.

Its Stage 3 State of emergency, they are arresting people on the spot to people on the roads so I can't go get a generator..plus I dont have the money... Hopefully they will do fine like u guys said..and hopefully my house doesn't flood out :/
