Hi, question for those that own a tortoise and dog. How do you create a dog proof enclosure outdoors? We have our redfoot in the backyard during the day, and bring him in at night. We’ve been considering getting a small-medium sized dog in the future- probably within the next year, but want to be prepared first. If you have any pictures of how to create a dog proof enclosure that would be so helpful. Thank you!

This was assembled cheaply buy pounding 4' steel stakes into the ground. Then attaching 2x4s to them and 1x6 lumber and wooden lattice.
Its been up and reliable for about 8 years and has survived 3 minor hurricanes and one major.

I have 3 pooches- a 52 lb Chow Chow, a 102 lb SHiloh Shepherd, & a 145 lb Newfie. I love them but know that my torts are just live chew toys and I don't want to see that! I used metal fence and made a gate to section off an area for my leopard. My russian has enclosed area with a fenced coverIMG_1768.jpegIMG_2881 (2).jpegIMG_3074.jpegIMG_3075.jpegIMG_3070.jpegIMG_1773.jpeg

I have a large (65lbs???) doberman. She only goes outside when I can be out there with her.
