This is not my Russian tort but (as I'm highly interested in this now) if it had pyramiding

Very slightly, but he's still young. It will smooth out in time. He could use more moisture in his habitat.

Can this sort of pyramiding be cured with moisture?

There is no "cure" for pyramiding, as its not a disease. When a young tortoise is raised in a dry habitat the shell grows bumpy. When you add moisture to the husbandry, the new growth starts to come in smoothly. The original bumpiness never goes away, but as the tortoise grows and the new growth is smooth, the bumps become harder to notice.

To me, young is from 0 to about 3 years.

What would happen if an older tortoise has pyramiding?

Nothing would happen. It's there to stay.

Not from pyramiding. A soft shell is from lack of calcium and real sunshine (UVB)

You can post photos here in the thread easier than in the "Media" section. Go to the "Help and Feedback" section and scroll down looking for subjects dealing with how to post photos from a phone. I'm sure the question has been asked before. Hopefully you'll find the help you need.
