Thanks! And I agree on the forum members. My go to.I use Picture This and PlantSnap (haven't gone pro yet).
In your other plant ID thread, I found your boerhavia diffusa, if that's correct, by using PlantSnap. They had lots of good pictures.
Generally, I find both apps very hit or miss. I also have a couple books for near where I live, and they are helpful.
When you come right down to it, I think the very best ID'ers are the members of this forum.
Have this now. Totally namedThanks! And I agree on the forum members. My go to.
I have Picture This now and found my weeds! Amaranths. Classifies as a herb. Couldn’t find it on tortoise table... maybe I’m just not good at searching on that site... anyways. If it is an herb then Koopa probably wont like it...Thanks! And I agree on the forum members. My go to.

It’s in the broader Amaranth family, which contains a lot of plants the Tortoise Table says no to, including spinach and lambs quarters. It’s because of that common worry about oxalic acids and its impacts on calcium absorption. I’m not one to worry about oxalic acid when my tortoise eats such a broad variety of plants but know many members do. If you want to look at the Tortoise Table I think lambs quarters looks the most like it but it’s still a stretch.
I occasionally feed amaranth and lambs quarters but as you suspect for Koopa, my own Russian doesn’t care much for it. Turned down a leaf of red amaranth today, in fact.
Ive always kept her away from these weeds. She likes spinach and arugula so maybe I will throw a few on her grass and she what she thinks of them. THANKS!!!
