sometimes when i’m in a room i’ll let my tortoise walk around a bit to get some roam time, and i usually have one or two articles of my clothing on the floor ( i’m a teenager it’s a usual thing) and for months i’ve noticed my tortoise prefers to sit on my clothes then actually roam, he will sit on them/ sleep on them for as long as i have him out it seems. i don’t know if this is just something he does but does anyone else’s tortoise do this ? it’s so funny to me

They shouldn't do that because they should not be roaming the floors of your house, specially a teenager. No offense, I had a teenager and know many and they are not neat people. Even if you were, that is not a proper place for a tortoise, very dangerous. They need the proper sized enclosure with proper heat, lights, etc and hopefully an outside enclosure for summer time.
