I have four Stars that are incubated for female. They are just under a year old. Do they look female? Yes, young, but any honest guess is appreciated.

Way too young to really say for sure but looking at the pics I would venture to guess that you have at least one male and possibly 2 there, but that can change!! A couple of the pics (at least on my monitor) were dark and hard to see the tail/anal scute area.

Thanks. The pictures are labeled - StarA/B/C/D. Which ones looked male to you?

I don't know nuthin' 'bout starts, but they are beautiful. The fourth one(dark pic) has a much smaller tail than the others but the anal scutes are very wide on that one too. I'm not seeing the labels on the pics. The first three look male to me, based on tortoises in general.

StarC is looking like a male but they are still too young to say either way. StarD the pic is too dark the angle not right.

Post updated pics in another year :)

Thanks, Danny. (a sexing thread is never complete without a post from you!:D)

I have been noticing that I might have at least one male, too. And I have been looking for an incubated for male Star. I guess I should hold off buying another one a little longer.
