Just wondering the diference between these two lights, (one is half the price) I'm finding it very difficult to grasp everything about lighting and heating as their is so many different things to think of

No you are good. i use exo terra heat bulbs but will switch to zoo med. i use zoo med mini compact uvb bulb.(make sure you put it straight over their head so they do not get eye problems. that should be good it works for my russians.Oh sorry il attatch them in a minute! Silly me

I like the Power Sun, That's what I use. And a 100 watt is more than adequate to provide heat and UVB for your baby Russian. All people with BABY tortoises should understand that the coil-shaped compact fluorescent bulbs MIGHT harm baby tortoises' eyes. It's best to not take a chance with that type of bulb. It seems to have no ill effects on grown tortoises.The heat, light and uvb sounds the most straight forward with it being all combined. . But what about wattage? My tort is a baby horsefield, are either of these appropriate?

zoo med also last's longerI see! So their both the exact same but zoo med is most likely alot better quality
