Its not fun running into one of those in the valley lol right when you here that rattling and dont see it your heart just drops lol

Yes, great job relocating it. I hate when people kill them. I've relocated a couple copperheads from peoples' yards here. Of course, copperheads are very calm and less dangerous, so I'm sure it was a bit more challenging for you!

Great picture. We get those here too. Mostly we see the Southern Pacifics though. Our Southern Pacifics are almost all black here and they are MEAN! I've literally had them leave the ground jumping at me and also chase after me.

Now I found a guy whose keeping them and milking them for an anti-venin company. Apparently, the normal rattlesnake anti-venin doesn't work too well on Southern Pacific bites because they don't use their venom to make the anti-venin.

Nice picture! I saw the rattle, heard it's rattle in my head and got goosebumps. Living in the desert teaches you a thing or two. :D
