I see a lot of you posting about these guys so you"ll be able to help me more than an internet search< since the searches I found were all for wildlife conservation.

I hope in the next year or 2 I will have a place of my own and I fell in love with these guys a long time ago, and want to get some.

Can any of you direct me to a good site for them as pets (I searched and still got wildlife sites!)
Or share tips.

I'm undecided if I want to go to a local rescue group and look (since living in MA being close to were they can be caught I don't want to end up with one that was wild), or if I want to get hatchlings (in which i'm sure some of you here could help with :) )
I don't know if i'd want a small female group or if i'd want just a single male or female. how do they get along.

space requirements? Adult single. as well as groups so I know what to work with.

Are they friendly? A cousin had RESs since hatchlings and they didn't really like people. (although yes I DO plan to rescue a single RES! lol)

Brackish water, yay or nay?

Just some basic prospective stuff.

This was recently posted under for sale section. I can't help with the care but I'm sure others will be along soon. They are beautiful turtles! Hope to have one of my own eventually too :).
