day night issues

I keep my torts in a large room with other reptiles mainly pythons (all in seperate enclousures).I keep the room 85 deg so i'm guessing i can turn my mvb light off at night for my torts they are less than a year old thanks john

Yes you can. Even if it wasn't that warm they need to have all lights go out for a period of time. If it was to cool you could use a ceramic heat emitter to provide heat, but no light.
All tortoises need a day/night cycle.
