I was comparing pictures of Dane from when I first got him on January 6th and from today, February 14th and was shocked to see how much he grew, so I thought I'd share.

He looks like a totally different guy! And its been just over one month!!!
Also notice how the pyramiding is starting to smooth itself out a bit...

Thank you! I feed him tortoise pasture grass primarily along with mix dark greens (endive, kale, escarole, turnip, etc), a bit of pumpkin puree and prickly pear cactus pads. He also gets frequent soaks (once a day or every other day), he has cuttle bone in his enclosure and he also gets vitamin supplement twice a week.

He is about 350 grams and a little under 5 inches straight.

Wow! I didn't think one month would make that kind of a difference, but I'm wrong. I can definitely see the difference in him. I got Ruby on January 9th and I'm sure she's grown some, but nothing like that, of course Dane is a Sulcata so that's going to make a difference. He looks even nicer now. :)

Whoa, bubba! That is a striking difference in shell width. :p

He's going to be a bruiser. ;)

Wow what difference. His shell looks much better, smoother than before. Your a good tortie dad! Oh by the way, are you a Dane cook fan? Just wondering if that's why you named him Dane..

If I may ask again, what kind of substrate are you using in his enclosure?
Thanks.

Yah , good job, you can see the coir is nice and damp in the second photo, that'll cure the pyramiding real quick.
