crape myrtle tree

Hello,
Does anyone know if its safe for Sulcata's to eat the flowers that drop off Crape Myrtle tree's?....I cant find any info on these trees on tortoise websites..

yeah i cant find anything too!!!!! my tort loves its flowers...

Yeah, I think the flowers are fine, but on some of the tree leaves I notice a sap like substance, and Im wondering if a leaf found its way in the pen, if thats safe to eat.

"They" say that avocado leaves are not good for them to eat and yet mine have been eating them for a decade with no problems? So all I want to know is who are "They"??? If they eat them I am pretty sure that they are fine. I would not be worried. LOL
