Confirming marginated?

Hi Guys,

I need a Expert Testudo person to confirm the pics. I have a person who emailed me these to determine what species this is. I believe to be Marginated. Cant tell completely. Looking at the mirror image on the bottom of the shell is my factor, but I need an expert to confirm.

Nope, not a marginated. It is a greek. Not sure which type although I have seen some similar to it with the same pattern on the plastron. Very old looking individual. Looks to be a male too. Any background on it?

No Background. Just a fellow local who emailed me with the typical what is this and what sex. I am trying to get the scoop. I dont know if she bought it or found it. I am weak on my Testudo species . I appreciate everything. I will keep everyone updated. Any more info would be awesome.

This is the exact same photo that MollyNMM posted here http://tortoiseforum.org/thread-13663-page-1.html. It is the same photo number even. Danny said it is a Caspian Greek. HMMM, too weird. What is up with that?

Ahh, well take Danny's word to the bank. He even said he has been looking for one for years. He is the Testudo expert, it is what he says it is!!

I've heard there are some crosses, in turkey, & greece.
Definitely not a Marginata
