No. It has medicinal uses, but should not be fed to animals.

I can not find any reports of adverse effects from this plant. Very few members of this plant family (Acanthaceae) present poisoning danger.

If it's in use for medicine, it probably shouldn't be consumed normally... and it may react differently with some animals than humans. IMHO!
