My sister brought me a bag full of chayote leaves, is it safe to feed? i haven't been able to find anything about it. All i find is info about the fruit but not the leaves. They are in the same family as squash and cucumbers, has anyone ever fed them to torts? I know they aren't toxic to humans, rabbits, etc but no idea about reptiles

my niece threw a leaf in Max's enclosure and i didn't notice until they left and it was almost completely gone by then, kind of worried now. I doubt it will hurt him but still worried since it's about the time he goes to sleep so i won't see how he's reacting when he goes to his hideout where he sleeps at night

I feed lots of squash leaves to my tortoises. They are totally edible.

All of ours also! Chayote is one of the best here, because it grows so fast and easily.
