He hasn't seemed to have dug down as usual? I think maybe the topsoil is still too wet, sure he will like it soon

Following bathing Charlie I put him on the carpet and whilst laid watching him on the floor he snuggles into my dressing gown. So cute I can't move him!!! ImageUploadedByTortForum1388956000.831479.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1388956012.233666.jpg

Charlie is not warming to his new home? He doesn't seem to be digging down into the soil like he did the sawdust?

I don't want to go back to sawdust but am worried as he keeps going into his house and getting cold? Any advice?

The topsoil is still a little wet so hoping that is why?

Charlie stayed out last night on his table and didn't go in his hide to sleep? There were no heat or UVB lights on, should I be concerned?

Think he hates his new home :-(

What was the temp? Maybe he was a little cold. I know my little guy didn't go into his hide at all when we first changed out the original cardboard box his old people had in his enclosure. Now he goes in almost every night. Maybe he is just figuring out where he likes to sleep best. Sometimes Archimedes will fall asleep wherever he has walked to, I had to pull him away from his water one day because I was Nervous. There is less than an inch of water but I had it in my head he was going to fall asleep in it the way he was starting to close his eyes and nod off. I'm sure Charlie is just getting used to his expanded new home. :)

They take time to adjust to their new home. It looks like a very nice place you got him, just give Charlie some time to get used to it and I am sure he will fully appreciate all your efforts :)
