Chia seeds are very nutricious for us. We put em in drinks, sprinkle em on toast, salads etc just drink a lot of water :) I never thought of sprouting some for Echo. Hmm. I sprout chia, brocc, chickpeas, clover etc for us using a sprouter in the kitchen, I was wondering if I can give Echo some of the suitable sprouts or? I'm going to try to grow some chia today.

Check out thetortoisetable.org for plant ideas. Clover and chia can be fed to torts. Carolina pet supply has many seeds for sale you can grow. I grew some indoors last winter just in coconut coir. Worked pretty good.
