My hobby photographer friend wanted to get some pictures of Olmec:

I got him from Petco for $20 because they decided that they shouldn't really be selling wood turtles. I suspect he was wild caught because he is so very lovely and smooth. The picture came out particularly well because I had just taken him out of his pool and he was still all wet and shiny. I got him because he really needed to get out of the store, I will be handing him off to another member soon.

That's interesting! They just recently started selling CA Wood Turtles at my girlfriend's Petco... wonder if they're selling their's cheap as well....
