A man came to the CTTC Chino last night. He has a CDT that has been the n his family for 70 years. When his great aunt found it, the tortoise looked like it does today.
The tortoise is a smaller female.
Will be adopted to an approved home only.
I will initially screen and refer potential adopters to the owner.
Must have tortoise experience.
Home check will be required.
Thanks
Kathy

This is weird...near where I live a lot of the community ggoes to the central market here..there is a cashier lady who knows I host tortoiee..she said she told a man came into the store and described to her that his family member (aunt or sister, she could not remember) has a tortoise that she could no longer care for and it was almost a hundred...and he was looking for someplace to give it to?? Interesting...she told him about me but she did not have my phone humber...interesting...hopefully she finds a new home for second part of her life...

Interesting, Angela!! Glad a few tortoises spend so many years with one family.
I also hope these oldies get nice homes to retire too.
