Yes, they can, but they and most other fruit should not be a regular part of their diet. Hermann's as well as other Testudo species should have a good quality, varied diet consisting of about 80-85% greens and the rest in varied, low sugar vegetables. Strawberries do have a considerable amount of fiber in them, which is good, but also have a very poor calcium to phosphorous ratio which is not good as well as over 7 grams of sugar on average.
Agreed ^ the fruits I feed my torts are mainly tunas the fruit from cactus. It's like a vitamin ball and pure fiber. Super healthy. Every once in a while I will offer some bananas and mango.
