Built my 1 year old Leo a new enclosure in the hopes I can better control the humidity inside. Let me know what ya think. It's 36in x 24in x 20in
Any suggestions would be welcome. How does everyone else create more humidity inside the enclosure?

How old your leo? That is a small enclosure for anything older then a few months. That water dish not a good one to use. Torts have been known to drown in them as it's hard for them to get out. A clay saucer, the kind that goes under plant pots work better and safer. Read Toms threads below by my signature. His closed chamber thread should help you with your humidity.

He's about a year old. I just make sure I don't fill the water up very high. He crawls in it and can lay in it without his head being in the water. I'm not worried about him drowning in it. Do you have any suggestions for a way to put more moisture in the air?

We use a human humidifier that we modified via a hose and a hole in the side of the enclosure to get our humidity up from 65% to 85-95%. Its the Vicks warm steam one from walmart under $30. We used waterproof duct tape to cover the vents so it all goes through the hose into the enclosure. We have it set on a timer to come on 30mins (10mins to warm up) every hour 24/7.

The ones made for reptiles are total crap and all the reviews and herp people I've talked to say they just break.

I like my enclosures to have more "decorations".

Here are some examples of how I set up Leopard baby chambers..
Hope this helps!

The reason that waterer was mentioned isn't because of the depth of the water, but rather the steep sides. When babies try climbing out of those waterers they sometimes get over-balanced and tip over backwards, landing on their backs in the water. A plant saucer, with sloping sides, is better.

How high is the humidity in it now? Looks like it would do a fine job of maintaining it.

Since no body has said it, I think the enclosure looks great.

Why thank ya Dean! TerryO has been an inspiration to me whether she knows it or not...and actually, I've been doing enclosure consultations in my area ;) both indoor and outdoor. Just a few but it's been awesome!
I even printed my own HisCreatedShells business cards ;) but now that I'm moving....I'm not sure if it will work in Oregon :/

A nice looking enclosure! Though I suspect if your little guy grows like most Leos, he won't be in there for too long!

When you open the front hatch, does the substrate fall out,or is there something holding it in that I can't see in the picture?

There is about a 2 inch edge that holds in the substrate. The humidity is right around 70% now. Still trying to get it higher. I do need more decorations. I would like to get live plants but not sure where a good place is to get them from.

Your enclosures are great! Could you list some of the plants you have had success with? I'm always afraid my torts will eat everything! One looks like an ivy. Are they real?

The only thing I've had trouble with mine eating is a small spiky kind of sedum and aloe.
