Today I’m going to a hardware store and going to start building the start of Shelly’s outdoor enclosure. It’s going to be 10ftx5ft and will end up looking like something in the picture below. I’m going to start just with a bottom board and planks for the side so he at least has something to go in while I’m in the garden with him but in a few weeks when it’s not sweltering hot out I’ll be building him a hinged roof with galvanised wire and a secure base to protect him from the foxes so I can start leaving him out there unsupervised.
