Buckwheat

I planted buckwheat in my garden as a cover crop for the winter. Can I feed it to my sulcata? Could not find it on any list I have found as it being bad or good for a sulcata. Thanks for your help.

The seeds of the buckwheat plant are used for fodder, however the leaves are probably not palatable.
