Is seems my or area have told me that they want to nap. Despite being in a warm room with lots of light (same room as my Hermann's ) they hide inactive in the corner. One is about 14 months and the other is 4. I was thinking of move them to my basement. It's not really heated but doesn't get below 35. Is it safe just to move them down? They haven't eaten in 2 weeks or a little longer but they're heavy for there size.

Thoughts?

RE: Burmating ornate boxies

I started with some Russians that were doing just that, and ended up leaving them in dirt boxes under my bed.(Yes that cold in our bedroom, don't ask!!)
This was way before I had a place like this to ask..
They would stay there from about now till maybe end of Febuary. Then we would hear the scratching and life began again. I don't have Russians anymore but my Ornates are outside all the time and have been hidden away for probably 3 weeks now.(I am in Ma)
If they were happy healthy, and heavy, my feeling would be , go for it, nature is telling them what to do.
Just my thoughts. Good Luck Nay
