You want full sun for that. The area in your pic is in the shade in the first pic.
In my hot climate, the heat reflected off that wall could kill seedlings, but it might be cooler and more humid where you are.
Do not let the seeds dry out during germination. On hot sunny days, I have to water every hour for the first week or so to keep the soil damp enough here. Once the seedlings are an inch or two tall, a good watering in the morning and another in the evening is usually enough, as long as the soil is staying damp at root level.
That is a great seed mix. I use it here. After the first spouters get up to about 16-18 inches, I cut and feed. I grab handfuls toward the tops and use scissors to cut a few inches above the bases. It will regrow all summer long and into fall.

Do not overdo the seeds! Most new owners do it and the plants don't have room to grow. Radishes and the other fast sprouting seeds will choke everything out. That's a bag of seed that could cover a meadow, I swear, more than you will ever fit in that box. Follow the directions on the bag!!
I'm guilty of that... Over seeding...
