Breeding Greeks

At what age do Greeks start breeding,i have just been offered a breeding pair of Greeks at 5 year old,surely thats too young

I have found its not just age it's also size and it usually takes 2years for a breeding pair of torts to get comfortable with their new area , not always but some times . They will breed but not lay eggs .
