Hello Michelle and welcome from Texas! You've got a little beauty over there! I have RF's as well. My babies are almost a year old. There are some great threads on enclosures and diet. Check them out in your spare time. We all love "talking tortoise" and pictures, so please share your experience, post pictures, ask questions, make friends and enjoy!

That should work. You might even piece more plastic on the sides next to the light. I like the idea of somehow attaching the shower curtain to the wire. Makes it easier to remove to administer to the habitat.

Thanks. I was planning on trimming it down once I find its working. And I think I may get some small pieces of plywood to put around the light area so I don't have to worry about it melting. Hopefully by the time I get home in a few hours I'll see the humidity higher.

Now we wait to see if my humidity goes up. Deadpool hasn't explored much and hasn't eaten yet either, but he's very alert.

Hi and welcome. This is a great place for up to date information from very experienced keepers who thankfully share their tried and tested methods with us.
www.thetortoisetable.org.uk is a good place to ID and find tort safe plants for enclosures and food.
