Flash is 1 1/2 years old now and I wanted to see if you can tell if he/she is a boy or girl.

For me its hard to tell with the pics you showed..
I was not sure what angle to use. Is there a better approach?
You need to take a pic of whole bottom from gullars to tail. Also need to see tail length. Try to get side view of bottom so we can see if plaston is concaved...

Can't tell. Every pic hides the tail. Try head up and plastron straight toward camera. What we ned to see is the tail. Hopefully the cloacal opening and the tail. Even still at a year and a half, it will just be an educated guess.
The tail is always tucked in..
