Box turtles together

I have a tiny 3 toed box turtle and a full grown ornate box turtle. My ornate is female and I'm not sure about the 3 toed. Can someone sex the little on for me? And is it safe if I were to move them into the same enclosure?

Your baby 3 toed is adorable. How big is the enclosure & is it covered?

The enclosure is 3 ft by 2 ft by 2 ft and yes it is covered

I wouldn't put the smaller one with the bigger one until he's bigger. Box turtles are carnivorous and the bigger one might bite some parts off the smaller one. Also, being a purist, I wouldn't put different species in the same enclosure...but that's me.
