First of all thank you for all the great answers on my other thread. I have another question On an outdoor enclosure I am building I do not know what to make it out of because because I am afraid treated wood would hurt him but regular wood would rot.

We used flat landscaping stones to about 12 in. and then capped off the top with big pieces of slate, overlaping to about 5 in. Everything is cemented together.

The new pressure treated wood is safe to use. I used galvanized 1/2 inch hardware cloth. The holes are small enough to keep rats and most mice out.

If any one can post pictures of their pen or plans for a good pen it would really help me out

My box turtle pens are divided up into 6 different pens, but they're all made like the view that can be seen here:

The baby box turtles live in a cement mixing tub and I just lay a piece of hardware cloth over it to keep birds and cats out:

I dont know if ppl have blue prints..they might have just 'eyeballed' every thing.....however if you used the cement pavers they would link together so you could make any pattern you'd like..curves and such.....

you will need to build the walls up higher....and keep you dog from going into there..you might have to cover it as well..I would add some plants, but not close to the walls..you dont want them to escape by climbing....
