Left him alone yesterday, made sure temps & humidity were ideal.
Wanted him to get used to his new home. Of course he spent most of the day hiding in the substrate.
Got him out a little while ago for a soak leaving him in his enclosure, thought I would put a strawberry out (thanks to a member for the suggestion) in his food dish & a worm... well while soaking he saw the movement & went after the worm!
Took a few bites, dragging it back to the water, where the worm drowned. So we put another worm in the enclosure & he took a couple bites from it.
I know the little thing cannot have a very big stomach & we were ecstatic to see him finally eat, just wondering how much should he be eating?
Again, he / she is about 5-6 months old.
Here is a pic
