Black tongue

I have just recently noticed that the top of my sully tounge is black, I'm pretty sure this is just from the mud in his enclosure where he has been digging but just wanted some reassurance that having a blackish tounge doesn't mean anything bad

A tongue is often a good indication of health. More than likely in this case it is probably mud or poo

From the view in your avatar, I'd say his whole mouth is black. This little scrounger has been eating poop!
