Beautiful close up photo! A painted foot print would be interesting. I agree with "Wellington" about torts having unique foot prints.

Just HOW BIG is this tortoise? I'm meaning from head to toe? Circumference? Do you know its weight? These creatures fascinate me to no end!!

If i ever win Lotto, i WILL be getting an enclosure/ plot like this....although i'd have to move somewhere warmer than Aberdeenshire....

* Thank you, Homer is over the 500 pound mark. We use a crane scale to weight them every year. He is our strongest male by far, super strong!

500lbs?? Good god! Thats about 40st in UK weight....thats absolutely colossal!! More than twice my weight, but will probably outlive me...now that is a creature with a great zest for life. Superb....I'm just in awe
