Ha ha yeah he needs to learn some table manners! In the second pic there is quite a bit of red on his neck, has he always had that?

The red by his ear is strawberries! He has a broken jaw, so he is learning how to eat on his own again.

oh wow! he looks to be doing quite well after breaking it. how does a tort's jaw get broken anyways? I'm just curious, I'm sure it happens, but just never heard of an actual instance of it.

How did he break his jaw? Good to see he's on the road to recovery!

It happened before I got him. He is wild caught and was imported like that. We are going to start repair work on the lower jaw next week. I have only had him 2 weeks. This is how his mouth looks now.
