Bedding

Someone told me today that me tortoise bedding(pellets) aren't good. So is the pro rep Tortoise life substrate a good thing to use. I am going to the garden and pet shop tomorrow so any fast responses would be great. Thanks.

Is it soil and play sand mix? If so, I wouldn't buy that. I don't know where you are, but in the UK, anything branded or made specifically for tortoises, like Pro Rep substrates tend to be really expensive too.

I use lots of different stuff, orchid bark, top soil and coco coir, (if you buy the bricks they expand in water).
All of the above are good for keeping the enclosure humid.
