I am a worrier. Since I cannot monitor the temperature in my greenhouse during the night, I have decided to move Goo into the house. So for beddie bye he sleeps in this sterilite container. I put the UVB on so that he gets his 12 hours, then we switch to CHE on a thermostat for the rest of the eve. He will not hibernate as you can guess. It is fun having him sit with us i the family room too!

Oh and when I go to bring him in at around 4pm he seems to have already tucked himself in in the large enclosure. But when I bring him in the house, he perks right up and even does some "sunbathing" haha.

Sudhira, he looks so content. I have two that like to (what I call) Moon bath as I have no lights on just the CHE or a blacklight they love to just lay under the warmth and bask. Then later they will dig in and go to bed. Silly torts. :)

Thanks all, yes, he has quite a better life than living in a small ( 10G ) aquarium tank with a sand substrate eating some bottle yellow squares of something, hhhmmm. It nice and warm and cozy at night, dark too...quite a delicious life I might say! HAHAHA, yup Moon bathe, I like it!
