Besides her out growing it ,no . Most Aldabra tortoises will not use it . I would plant shrubs . They love hiding in shrub brush .

I definitely agree with outgrowing it.. when I had the tube just laying on the ground she used it very often.. she hasn't ventured through it since I made a mound on top of it yesterday.

I just wonder, if it goes in, how it would go out, backing up or there is another end of the tunnel?
Sorry silly question, but I'm curious..;)

Thank you the grass seeds are coming up quite nice. She has clumped half way up to reach to kudzu vine. That kudzu vine may be the main reason I set up the hill. I've wanted to plant kudzu for a while, but fear that it would engulf my yard and house. So I put it on the tunnel and some blocks to try and control the roots from traveling all over this side of aTupelo

I wonder what kind of shrub bush can withstand?

Rose of Sharon is working well now. She has started using her tunnel again after she has gotten used to it, and when she is too large for it (probably bye next summer) that's when she gets moved to the large yard.

She will actually lay on the lower branches and clean the leaves of this rose of Sharon tree.
