Is Baytril safe to give to pancakes?

I have used Baytril on Pancakes with no problems.

I have also used it on pancakes with no problems. I wasn't aware of any tortoises that can't have it, and I have used it on leopards also with no apparent problems. I think the issue is when it's injected multiple times into the same spot, you can imagine that area would get pretty irritated after the second time. I typically use it orally.

Did you ever find out what exactly was wrong with the Pancake? If not, I wouldn't be administering Baytril.

Some keepers prefer Flagyl and Metacam over Baytril. One experienced boxie keeper reported red tissue growing around the injection area after she used Baytril. Then again, that's just my 2 cents. Many keepers use it without any major side effects.

My pancake had a horrible reaction to it. Threw up constantly. I'm sure its too late, but I wouldnt recommend it.
