Hi, I am new to this site. About two weeks ago I purchased a 6 month old eastern hermann tortoise. I was wondering if after soaking them, should one dry the tort off? Or let it evaporate? Cause I know letting water stay on human skin can make it even drier. Thanks!

Since hes going back into an enclosure that is high in humidity; it doesn't really matter. In areas with hard water; wiping it off after soak will keep any staining of the shell. It will also help to remove any sub-strait or food bits that they might get.
