Hey peeps, now every day I bath my tortoise in shallow water, not too hot but not too cold, I leave him in it for about 5 mins or so but there is a lot of confusion on how long to bath them for ? I've been told if I leave my tortoise in for say 20 min the water will get cold and this can stress the little guy out.
Sobi would appreciate it if someone can clarify this for me bath him for how long ? And should I dry him or will he dry off himself ? Thanks a lot guys.

Soak your tortoise for any where from 15-30 minutes, and use warm water.

There is no set or perfect amount of time for soaking. Its subjective.

I'll just soak them until either a.) the water starts to get cold or b.)they poop and dirty the water. This is generally about 10 minutes or so, but I never time it.

You could soak him slightly under the heat lamp, but be careful not to cook him
