Basking?

Do radiated tortiose not bask to often?
Mine don't. They will on cold mornings, but if its warm they tend to seek shade. indoors its about the same. I don't even use basking lamps for anything other than adults, and even then they are only on for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. Some of the adults will use that time to warm up, some won't.

Mine dont seam to bask eather, they are up mid morning soak, eat hang out for hour or so maybe a drink and it's back to cover of plants .
