I have a four month old leopard tortoise, I also have two other clutch mates, the one I am concerned with has had trouble eating and often sits with his beak mis-aligned, like a cross bite. For now he is separated for feedings, and his food is cut up to bite size pieces since he is having difficulty ripping of bits of leaves and lettuce. He is being treated for RI and has oral antibiotics prescribed by the vet, we are doing carrot water soaks every day and he is getting calcium power 2-3 times a week. His temps are cool side 80-85, warm side 95, basking spot 100-110, I have warmed up his enclosure to help with the RI, the vet said he has a soft beak and that is one of the reasons why he is having trouble eating, anyone have any recommendations to help him strengthen his beak and shell? We love this little guy and dont want to lose him... the other two are completely 100% healthy active and eating like champs, there’s a noticeable difference in their eating habits and overall activity levels...

Hi, can we see a picture of the enclosure and the tort with the RI.
He is in a zoomed tortoise house with a mercury vapor combo uvb bulb and a ceramic heat emitter for night time heat, does that help?

Trying to figure out how to upload photos, I can’t seem to post them straight from my phone
I just copy and paste mine in, but I'm using a laptop.

When you are writing a post on the right side of the post reply button there is a button called upload a file. Then you click the photo you want to upload
