Kate...it is to big and sturdy for a kitchen floor. It is an outside mat and I have been wiping my feet on mine for about 4 months now and it is holding up great and really gets the crap off my shoes. I got it from the Collections Etc catalog. It's cheap, I paid $15 for that one and now they are marked down again and the girl says it is going to be discontinued and it's $12 now...

No fair! I have the Birthday Fairy's birthday marked on my home calendar so I could be the first to commemorate her birthday on July 7th, and now about a dozen of you have beaten me to it.
