dmmj,
Tag sale, garage sale, estate sale, yard sale all the same.
People put all their stuff outside on the lawn and sell it for a fraction of what they paid for. Many times there is junk that should be tossed and even more often there is stuff that was either given to them as a gift, or they bought and never used. I have furnished most of my house from good will and yard sales. You would NEVER know it.
I also have supplemented my meager paid job by picking up items and re-selling them, alot on ebay.or CL. It all helps!! and I love doing it!

Nay, I bought a shoe box full of baseball & football cards once at a tag sale. Found some real gems in there! I think I paid $20 for the entire box, but after looking up the value of some of the cards in Becketts I think they came out somewhere in the ballpark (pun!) of $500 in value!
