I bought this today to use on my back steps so I won't slip on them anymore when they are wet. Then I got to wondering if I could use it to make fake rock like basking/climbing platforms for my pancake.

It goes on with a special roller and dries like rough concrete. It's non-slip and a rough texture made to seal wood. It's water based and low odor. Think this could work?

Sounds okay to me, just give it plenty of time to dry outside of the enclosure so whatever "low odors" are left have plenty of time to dissipate. The only concern I had was plastron damage from the rough surface, from what I understand pancakes are rock-dwelling torts anyway, so it's probably fine.

Thanks! It gives you directions to give it a smoother surface too. I just want to make sure it has good footing for climbing.

After applying it, I would wash it off a few times before the torts are let loose on it.
