Hi I use this brooder clamp light just by itself no clamp or guard but what I’m wondering about is the lighting.
I’m getting an Arcadia 12% or Reptisun 10.00 tube but for the heat is this alright?
Do I have to use a dimming thermostat I have a reptile lamp stand that was pretty cheap.

Not quite sure I understand what you are asking. The tube fluorescent will give off uvb but not heat. The flood bulb will give light and heat and use it for basking
But what species are you talking about using this for?
