I wrote last week and here is an update. Agatha is 9 years old and still not pooping much after 2 weeks. She has peed some and I am currently soaking her daily for as long as possible (1-6 hrs) at 100 degrees as per the vet. The X-rays are being sent to CSU but until then do you have more suggestions? The vet wants a fecal sample but she’s not had any lately. She’s eating normally. Thank you

So the vet has no theory as to what's going on?
Did they reccomend a laxative like cucumber?
No but I've been giving her cukes, pumpkin and pedialyte in her water. Any other ideas? The vet works with a lot of exotic animals but he didn't want to start guessing until CSU sees the xrays. Thank you!

Doesn't look like there's anything in there to poop out. You've got to get her eating before she'll poop. Have you tried Mazuri Tortoise Diet?

Cactus pads, cactus fruit, hunks of aloe vera, grape leaves, mulberry leaves & grass. Lots of soaking. Then a cucumber or two.

I’ll try cactus pads, I’ve some in the freezer. I’ll also start her on aloe. I just bought watermelon, broccoli, prunes and more cukes. A neighbor grows grapes so I’ll get leaves. She’s picky and won’t eat Mazuri or hay, and when I put her in the yard she didn’t want grass. She has been eating well otherwise so there’s gotta be something inside somewhere. Ive been soaking her for several hours a day in warm water. Thank you everyone, I’m worried.

Thank you everyone! She finally gave me a very small fecal sample (she usually poops like a German Shepherd) and she is chock full of parasites! They are not indigenous to SW Colorado so she’s probably had them from when we got her in AZ two years ago. Hopefully this will take care of it.
