Hi, I'm new to this forum.
I was given a horsefield tort from a family member who couldn't look after him anymore. He is 3 years old and and has lived in a vivarium since they got him. I am considering getting a tortoise table so that he can have more space to explore, I let him out in the garden as much as possible but I live in Wales and the weather isnt the greatest all the time.

Any information and guidance would be greatly appreciated, I have read some posts on the internet but there seems to be conflicting information.

Thanks,
Stephen

Here is the care info for Russians. A larger enclosure is good, but which one is best will depend on the temperatures in your house. Its easier to maintain warm temps in a viv, but you'd have to buy or build a very large viv. With an open table, the tortoise's enclosure temp and humidity will match the room temp and humidity, except when directly under heat sources that are on during the day.
